R-Tech Commander Colony Resource Guide (part 2): How to get more Gold, Titanium, Gems and Nimes Alloys

Welcome to part 2 of the R-Tech Commander Colony Resource Guide. In this part, we’ll show you how to get more gold, titanium, diamonds and Nimes Alloys. Click here to go back to part 1 of the R-Tech Commander Colony Resource Guide.

Gold and Nimes Alloys are two different premium resourced that are mostly used for the same thing – I.E. they are heavily used in upgrading your commanders themselves. There are a couple ways to get more Gold and Nimes Alloys. One of them is to fight any battle against any other fleet of ships, and win. That can be one of the computer controlled fleets hanging out off to the bottom left and right of your colony. That can also be any resource planet, or another player’s colony that you attack.

In addition, you can also go to the Staging Post building, which you should have built in your colony during the tutorial, and play the roulette game for resources as often as you can. In this, there’s a chance of winning up to 500 gold or up to 10 Nimes Alloys.

Titanium is a premium resource that works just like Aluminum (mostly), except it’s a more premium version of it. You can get more of it using the Smelter, but not until you upgrade your Command Post up to level 5. Once you do that, go to the store menu and start building and upgrading Smelters. In addition to that and the Staging Post, you can also invade the Smelter planets on the main map (they are the ones which look like red melting planets). If you take over one of them, then voila, you have a smelter for life that you can collect from.

Gems are the premium currency of the game, and can be used to buy more of literally every resource as well as more spins at the Staging Post. Right now, you can only buy them with real money, but expect the developers to make offers offering not only free Gems, but also giving you free bonus Gems when you buy more of them.
