Racing Rivals: Top 10 Tips, Cheats and Tricks

Winning races can be hard in Racing Rivals. Unlike most games of its type, there is no form of “energy” that artificially and arbitrarily keeps you from playing the game as much as you want, but if you car is not fast enough, then you can play as much as you want and it won’t even matter. Using the right strategies can make all of the diifference between sucking at Racing Rivals and topping the class-A championships. Read on for the top 10 tips and tricks in Racing Rivals!

10. Play multiplayer mode as much as possible
There comes a point when you get stuck in the campaign race, and you either get stuck in the three daily challenge races, or you run out of daily challenges to complete. At this point, play the multiplayer mode as often as possible to earn coins. Plus, the street cred that you earn will allow you to complete missions, which will earn you coins rapidly, thus allowing you to upgrade your car.

9: Drop weight from your car.
You can have as much horsepower and torque as you want but if you aren’t dropping weight from your car, it doesn’t matter because you’ll never win the toughest races. Go to the upgrade area and under “Chassis”, you’ll be able to drop weight up to three times. This can take up to 25% of the weight off the car, which allows you to go WAY faster, without worrying about extra engine damage.

8: Forced Induction.
If you haven’t either purchased a supercharger or a turbocharger conversion, then you won’t be using your car to its full potential. These add insane amounts of horsepower and torque. If you run out of steam in the top end, then turbochargers are your best bet. Low and midrange torque is best improved with a supercharger. Either way, you cannot go wrong.

7: NOS.
Nitrous Oxide, or NOS, becomes absolutely necessary to win races in the later rounds. A good 50 shot is your initial NOS boost, and this alone will put you over the top in many races that you found it previously impossible to beat. However, you are going to need to upgrade your NOS in order to blow away your opponents.

6: Watch videos for coins
Have you run out of races to run, or you’re having a difficult time beating people in the Multiplayer mode? The solution is simple. Go to the store area, and you can watch videos, and earn free coins for every video that you watch. Watch them until you have enough money for some good upgrades. Once you upgrade, you’ll stand more of a chance.
