Each time that you gain a player level, you can unlock more territory out here, allowing you to build more and more resource-earning buildings. Focus primarily on the farms as your troops drain your food just by existing. If you don’t have a high enough hourly food income, you’ll go into the negatives in food.

Before you set your army out against other players, test them out against mummies and other monsters that you find in the overworld. Scout them to determine how many troops you’ll need at minimum, but send as many troops as you can for each battle. The more you send, the less you’ll lose, and the more resources you can potentially carry.
