Robot Dance Party: Guide – Hints, Tips, Cheats, Tricks and Strategies

Robot Dance Party is a new music game for the iOS and Android. Not to be confused with the giant dancing robot in San Francisco, this game lets you build your own robot out of a huge assortment of parts and compete in dance-offs. You can either dance in the solo mode, questing through different songs and stages, or even compete against your friends. Read on for some tips and tricks for Robot Dance Party!

In the stage select screen, you’ll see a symbol associated with each stage – either a disco ball (club), a star (pop) or a can of spraypaint (street). When you’re building your robot, focus on matching the symbol with the stage that you’re up next to play, as huge bonuses can come from that in points, leading you to get more stars on the stage.

However, also pay attention to the rarity of the parts that you equip. You can tell what the rarity is by the star rating – for example, every piece in the B-Boy set that you get as a bonus when you begin the game has a rarity of 3. Combine that with grinding for experience points the old-fashioned way to increase the experience level of each of your favorite parts.

Practice the same song and always play with the music turned up. Whether you’re tapping, sliding, tapping-and-holding, or rapid tapping, or whatever else, use the music as an aid to help you tap, slide and let go at the right time, because the circles that pop up will always go with the beat. Keep the circles in your eyesight and don’t let your finger block part of the screen.

The event area isn’t here yet, but wait for it to show up because this is one of the areas in which you’ll be able to compete for excellent rewards. Expect there to be some events that offer up free gears, loads of nuts and bolts, and goodies such as rare robot parts and jumper cables.

If you don’t have any friends who play the game on Facebook, you can always use the matchmaking feature in the battle mode to start a match against a random person. There are no scores in this mode – there is only a ranking based on the best number of high-level steps (perfect, great, etc)
