Rocket Cars is a new one touch racing game for the iOS platform by Touchgrind Skate creator Illusion Labs. The controls are similar to the Smash Cops series in that you drag your finger behind the car to steer it and to make it accelerate, and you can pick up a number of weapons to blow away other racers as well. You have five energy max in this game, and once you use up your energy you won’t be able to race anymore until it all comes back. If you want to restore it right away, though, set the time ahead on your phone or tablet, and then go back to the game and it will be restored, assuming that you added enough time to the clock. After you do this, you can go back to the date and time settings and set the time right back to normal. Now, go back to the game again and when you do, the energy that you gained by using the time lapse cheat will still be there. You can do this trick as many times as you want to keep playing for an unlimited amount of time.
The simplest thing with this, as with any racing game, is to take the inside line by any means possible, and you will find it easy to forge ahead of the other cars. Also, avoid the power slide by turning as gently as you can and keeping the highest speed possible throughout turns. And make sure to collect the boosts.
Upgrading your cars is what will make them perform better when you’re overmatched in a race. Be as cost-effective as possible when you’re upgrading. Upgrade all five of your categories (speed, acceleration, boost duration, boost pressure and tires) to the same level, then upgrade them to the next level. This will keep you winning races for the cheapest prices possible.
If you need to earn some more coins because you’re stuck on a stage, go back to an old stage and play it again, with a full focus on collecting coins. You can also pick up free gems every so often, although the best way to get free gems is by hitting the “get gems” button on the main menu screen. Do this and you will earn 5 gems in exchange for watching an advertisement video.
