Each time that you lose or you quit out of a level, you lose a life. You have five lives, and each one takes half an hour to regenerate, but if you set the time ahead on your device, you can get them back right away. Set it ahead by half an hour per life that you need to restore, or 2 1/2 hours for a full restoration.

Once you do that, go back to the game and your lives all be restored. Now, go back to the date and time settings to set the time on your phone back to normal. Go back to the game and it will say there seems to be a problem with the clock on your phone. However, once the game reloads, you will still have all of those lives that you just got.
If you match four pieces in a row, you will get a stripe, which is a line-clearing piece. Five in a L or T or + will earn you a popper, which is a 3×3 bomb piece and five in a row will earn you a rainbow piece, which clears all pieces of the same color. Mix two pieces together and you’ll cause huge effects – for example, two bombs causes a 5×5 explosion, and a bomb and a rainbow piece turns all pieces that color match the bomb into bombs, then blows them up.
There is a huge emphasis on Facebook and on adding friends. You can add random people or real friends, but you can’t send lives back and forth. You can, however, compete to see who can get the best high score. Not as useful as lives, but if it’s real life friends, it’s still fun to compete.
You will fight against a boss every tenth level. To beat them, drain their hit points before the level ends. Try to set up chains of combo attacks so that you can do large amounts of damage with minimal use of turns. Once you beat the boss you will be able to move on to the next level.
