10) Use the time lapse cheat or spend stars to get more airplanes
And by airplanes, I mean more “lives” or “energy”, not actually unlocking new aircraft. You have up to ten aircraft at a time, and once you run out you either have to wait for them to come back or you can spend stars on them. Or use the time lapse cheat as described in tip number 12, and you’ll get your airplanes back, right away, and completely free.
9) Ignore the towers and other high-damage objects until you get stronger cannons.
The towers in the first two stages, the nuclear power plant in the third stage, and other subsequent ones will be impossible to kill if you don’t have a highly upgraded main cannon. Once the main cannon is at least 7 times upgraded, though, destroying the towers is a quick process.
8) Two ways to get rid of the ads
One of them is to pay two dollars in the in-app purchase store and the ads will go away permanently. The other way to do this is to shut off the data and the wifi, or to stick your phone into Airplane Mode. The game will still be playable, but the ads will go away permanently.
7) Go back to the earliest stages to get medals, and work your way up.
You’ll need medals in order to unlock new stages, but in order to get medals, you will have to complete tasks such as 70% kill, 100% kill rate, rescue everybody, or get through the level untouched. Start from the easiest levels in the game because you’ll have a much higher chance at getting medals more easily on earlier stages, after upgrades.
6) Make friends on Game Center to play in the tournament mode.
This is the only thing that the scores you earn in each stage are useful for. You and your Game Center friends can compete to see who has the higher score on particular stages. There is no Facebook integration yet, oddly enough, but rest assured that’s probably going to come soon as well.
