Smash Champs – Tips, Tricks, Cheats and Strategy Guide

Smash Champs is one confused game for the Android and iOS. It’s a new Fruit Ninja-style game that thinks it’s a fighting game, but also has back-and-forth PvP rounds, sort of like the Zynga With Friends series. This confusion certainly isn’t a bad thing – this makes for one very entertaining game. Read on for some tips and tricks for Smash Champs!

Almost all of the performance in battle, at least initially, depends on how well you slash at the balls. Your goal is to hit as many of them as you can in the smoothest slices that you can. If you knock off one wave, you get a clear bonus, and if you hit three or more balls in one swipe, you get a combo bonus. Combine these bonuses for the highest score that you can get.

Play as many rounds of battle as you can. This is the only way you are going to get stronger, and plus, the more that you play, the more that you win. You tend to get matched up by experience level, so if you are leveling up faster than the next guy, then you’ll have a better chance at winning more often.

You’ll earn medals each time that you win the series of fights against an opponent. The more medals, the more different characters that you can unlock. And of course, the more people that you play against at a time, the better your chances of winning a medal.

Whenever a ton of balls are on screen at once, use multiple fingers to swipe at the same time. Even if you hit multiple balls at the same time with different fingers, they will all count toward a combo, so with multiple fingers it becomes far easier to get more points. Try to have all of them swiping in the same direction to increase the chances of earning a combo bonus.

Watch out for the bombs when you swipe at balls. The bombs will knock out all of the balls on the current wave, robbing you of a chance at earning points.
