Space Frontier (Ketchapp) – Tips and Tricks Guide: Hints, Cheats, and Strategies

By | 20170728

Space Frontier is a new game by Ketchapp for the iOS and Android platforms. Your goal is to launch your rocket as far up into the sky as you can using some strategic tapping. You can upgrade your rocket to have even more stages, unlock new types of rockets, and even make it into orbit, almost getting hit by meteors along the way. Read on for some tips and tricks for Space Frontier!

Your goal is to tap as late as you can, as the later that you tap, the farther you’ll go. If you tap too late, though, you’ll lose the rocket, it’ll blow up, and your run will be done. You can either get a Good, Great, Awesome, or Perfect rating depending on how late into the current stage you tap.

To get that elusive perfect, first, you have to let the stage disappear just into the green band. After that, watch the little light glow on the sides of the current stage to see how far up you are; if you hit it right at the top without blowing up you’re rocket, you’ll get that huge perfect boost. The more perfects you get, the higher your rocket will go, by far.

Coins will allow you to upgrade your rocket. To earn more coins, you can watch the videos that pop up often, but they don’t give you too many coins until after a few upgrades; they will start off giving you 10 coins each, all the way up to 200 coins at level five or so, and then so on and so forth. It’ll equal 10% of the upgrade amount. Use these to purchase the upgrades faster. In the levels themselves, you will earn 1 coin for every 10 points, meaning that coins can often come quickly.

You can unlock new rockets, too, and they will all keep the upgrade level that you’re at now. The appearance of the entire rocket will change, not just the tip of the rocket. The quotes will even change too; you might even get a “Nice Job, Elon” if you do well enough.

As you keep upgrading and hitting all of those perfects, keep checking the top scores in Game Center and Google Play. You’ll be able to see who the top players in the entire world are, and you’ll be able to compare your own score to their scores.

About Evan Heisenberg

Evan Heisenberg named himself after a Breaking Bad character one time, and then got stuck with it. He’s a San Diego guy living in Tacoma, so he legitimately enjoys the cliche “long walks on the beach.” Aside from writing about mobile games, Evan is an aircraft hydraulic maintainer and maintenance instructor. He likes weightlifting, beer, dad jokes, the Padres and Chargers, and slightly-old luxury and exotic cars.
