Spirit Lords: Tips, Tricks, Cheats, and Strategy Guide

Spirit Lords is a new action RPG for the iOS and Android platforms by Kabam, the crew behind Fast and Furious Legacy and (historically) the Kingdoms of Camelot franchise. Your goal is to quest through a huge world, with a storyline rivaling that of premium and console games, while using a huge multitude of spirit attacks to win battles. Read on for some tips and tricks for Spirit Lords!

If you are interested in battling only and you don’t care too much about exploring, use the auto-populate feature to go where you need to go without having to find it first. Hit the icon that looks like two feet in the upper right corner of the screen. However, if you want to explore, ignore this and wander around the open world wherever you wish.

Upgrading your equipment is one of the two main ways to power up your character. You can’t mess with your equipment once you get it, so earning new equipment is what you are limited to. Go to your backpack and optimize your equipment, then sell what you no longer need for coins. Or, if you want to hold more equipment, use your moonstones to purchase more slots.

Spirits, however, can be used to upgrade other spirits. Grubbins are specifically used to power up other spirits, but you can also use common one-star spirits to power up rare, two-star or more spirits (especially the three and four star ones as they are the most powerful to begin with). Once you max out their level, you can then evolve them but you need specific material spirits in order to do so.

Keep spirits of different elements around so that you can get an elemental advantage against opponents. Water beats fire, fire beats plant, plant beats lightning, and lightning beats water. If you lose on a tough, elemental-specific stage, go back and change the elemental mix of your spirits and try it again.

If you are going to spend money on moonstones, be sure to check the current deals that are going on. Tap the treasure chest icon in the lower right hand corner of the main map screen (it will be sparkling) to see what the current deals are. You’ll get loaded up on Chromatic Seeds, gold, feed power and other goodies in addition to your moonstone bounty.
