Summoner Wars: Sky Arena provides a nearly endless number of ways to enhance your monsters. Among the more advanced ways to do so are awakening your monsters and fusing your monsters. Awakening is like evolution, except that it doesn’t increase rarity – it changes the look of your monster and powers it up significantly. Fusion allows you to fuse multiple monsters and turn them into one even more powerful monster. Read on for a guide on how to do both in Summoner Wars: Sky Arena!
Awakening a monster can only be done with a gold-starred monster. Silver-star monsters cannot be awakened, and purple-star monsters are already in their awakened form. Awakening a monster will give them a new name, as well, and will also give them special skills that they can use in battle. Each monster can only be awakened once.
To awaken a monster, go to the monster menu. Next to the monster’s profile, go down to “Awaken”, which is below “Info” and “Skill”. You will see a list of the essences you need in order to awaken a monster. Once you meet or exceed the essence requirements, go to the Awaken button, press it, and then press ok at the prompt.

If you don’t have the essences, go to the Cairos Dungeon to get them. Tap on each of the pictures of an essence to see which of the subdungeons you have to go to. Typically, it will be one of the elemental property dungeons, such as the hall of fire for the fire based ones, or the hall of water for the water based essences.
Some essences are rarer than others. Once you hit level 15, you will be able to buy the Fuse Center from the store. After you place it, you will be able to fuse essences of the same type together to form an essence of the same type, but with a higher rarity. This can be a far easier way to get the required rare essences than grinding over and over.
To fuse your monsters, you will need to purchase a Fusion Hexagram. Unfortunately, the Fusion Hexagram is currently completely locked in the store, because it has not been added to the game yet. Once it is added, purchase it and you will be able to fuse monsters together to make even more powerful monsters.
