Super Spell Heroes is a new game for the iOS and Android where you make matches in order to cast spells. You have spells that you can use to damage your opponent, all sorts of strategies to win before they can beat you, and coins and gems so that you can upgrade, get new spells, and more. You have different spell elements, represented by colors (red, for example, is fire), but even on top of that, some spells are more powerful than others. Basic, elite, advanced, and ultimate spells are the tiers, and are unlocked as you go further into each battle. The more pieces you include with a spell, the more damage you do, or in the case of healing and shield spells, the more healing or protection that you get.
You can unlock new spells and new heroes as you make it from level to level and from quest to quest. You can carry four spells of each tier at a time, so you’ll be able to strategize and pick spells for maximum advantage against specific enemies. When you come across a tougher battle, and you can’t beat it with one specific load out, switch it around and you might end up with more of an advantage.
Look for the various time quests around the map (e.g. 10 seconds, 90 seconds, etc), and send a hero on the quests in order to win coins and spell cards. If they quest is short enough, then you can finish it immediately for free, but if the quest is longer, then you can either wait for it to finish or you can finish immediately by spending some gems.

You can earn free gems fairly easily in this game. One way to do so is to complete all actions for the Celestial Emissary in a day, and he will reward you with gems. Another way to do so is to complete the achievements in the achievement menu (the menu inside of the trophy icon). Collect these rewards for free gems as well.
Join a guild as soon as you are able to. The guild will come fairly shortly into the game, and once you join a guild, you and your friends will be able to battle together, as well as to mix it up against other guilds.
