Tap My Katamari is a new clicker game starring one of the first viral characters for the iOS and Android platforms. You play as the Prince, and your goal is to roll the Katamari and pick up everything to grow it as huge as you can. You can earn coins and stars along the way, progress through stage after stage and watch as your Katamari grows from millimeter-sized to planet-sized. Upgrading the tap is the most basic upgrade of the game, but don’t just rely on your upgraded taps. Tap with more than one finger at a time in order to maximize the impact of your tapping. You can do two, three, four, or even more fingers alternating. Tapping fast will especially become useful when you go up against a boss character, so that you can beat them more easily.

Hiring your cousins is important because they are going to be the ones who do most of the dirty work for you. The cousins will automatically roll the Katamari and earn you coins, even when you are offline. After a good long layoff of an hour or two, go back to the game and collect your coins, use a video to double them (the offer pops up automatically), then turn the game off again and let it go.
You can also double your coins for four hours straight by tapping the mushroom icon menu and hitting the “Coin Fever” button. A video will pop up here as well, and when the video is done, you will get double the coins for 4 hours. As soon as the bonus is done, you can go back and watch the video again for the same bonus again.
When your prince reaches a specific level, you will be able to trade it for several stars. Stars provide a bonus, as well as the ability to purchase some new premium items, but in exchange you have to give up all of your cousins (but not your special cousins, though, since they are premium only). With the star bonus though, you will get them back EXTREMELY quickly.
At certain level milestones, a new skill will be come available for a particular cousin. These go level 10, 50, 100, 200 etc, and for the skill that becomes available, it usually involves a better chance of a critical, or increased distance traveled per tap of the Katamari.
