Ted Ginn: Kick Return – Top 10 Tips, Tricks and Cheats

Ted Ginn: Kick Return is the latest pro athlete tie-in game for the iOS and Android (out of a very small field, actually), and it’s by far the most popular one to have ever come out. You play as the kick returner, and your goal is to score as many points as possible, with the help of your bloggers. The game starts off easy but gets difficult VERY quickly. Read on for the top ten tips and tricks for Ted Ginn: Kick Return!

10) Use the store and the free agency market to your advantage.
As you go forward, you will have to upgrade in order to continue winning. The free agency market will allow you to sign better blockers and kick returners, including even Ted Ginn Jr himself. The store has a nearly unlimited assortment of goods that you can buy to increase the stats of your team.

9) Know what each of the statistics do for your characters.
For kick returners, agility increases their ability to side-step the opposing blockers, while power increases your ability to run right through them. For blockers, power increases their ability to stop the defenders from running through, while size does what it sounds like – it increases the actual size of your blockers.

8) You don’t have to draw lines to run a good route.
Instead, you can simply tap a spot on the field and your kick returner will run to that spot. This minimizes erroneous backward runs, as well as speeds up your returner, since when you aren’t holding the screen, he runs faster and can run through defenders more easily.

7) Run down the side of the field for easy field goals.
Usually you will have at least one blocker on the side of the field, and running behind your blockers makes it easier to get through a defender. If you get to the 50 yard line you get an automatic field goal, and while that won’t earn you the extra cash that a touchdown will, that still gets you three points closer to a win.

6) Intentionally lose the last round of a tournament if you want to keep farming that tournament for cash.
Each tournament has three rounds, and playing a tournament you have already beaten is nearly worthless because it earns you 1/10 the cash. Instead, go to the current tournament and beat the first two rounds, then intentionally lose the third round over and over again, depending on how much cash you want or need.
