Tiny Troopers: Alliance is a new Clashalike from Chillingo, taking the Tiny Troopers franchise and throwing it up against the dominators in the genre, such as Clash and Star Wars Commander. The gameplay will be familiar to any veterans of this type of game, but with many different changes that turn it into a surprisingly unique game. Read on for some tips and tricks for Tiny Troopers: Alliance!
Your base already comes with a moat built into it so that you can stick your important buildings on the little island in the center. For most of it, this should be the HQ; however, at a certain point in the game you’ll want to farm, and when you want to farm, move your HQ out of the center, and load up the center with resource buildings and defensive towers.
This works in that other players who are going for a high battle rank will attack your HQ with as few troops as possible, ignoring your resources, throwing you into damage protection, and protecting you from getting raided by resource hogs. Another way to protect your resources: collect from your steel mill and gold mine, leave your mills and mines out, and protect your steel yards and gold coin vaults with as much firepower as you can.
Change up your battle strategy to go with whatever plan you want to execute, whether trying to farm for resources or increase your battle rank, or both. Since you can order your troops to target specific areas, this is all that you have to do – order your troops to target what you wanna attack first. Find HQs outside of bases if you want more battle rank. Find resource buildings that are not well guarded if you want more resources.

Between cards, troops, vehicles, and airstrikes, you have a ton of options, but then again, that means your opponents do too, so alway be sure to maximize the guarding ability of your base even if you have a farming base, by maximizing the defenses. Build the maximum amount that your HQ level will allow, and upgrade them as high as possible.
