You start off small, so you have to start off eating small objects inside of the house. This mainly consists of bananas, water bottles, and cell phones at first, but you quickly expand your size, and as you get larger, the amount of objects that you can eat grows. Keep looking around the house for more stuff to eat until you get big enough to eat the entire house itself.

Different objects are worth different amounts of points, but nothing is worth a huge quantity of points except for bonus items. Even entire buildings are usually worth up to six points each. So instead of looking around for the largest buildings, look for the densest cluster of objects to eat. Of course, the beginning house is the best place to start off with, but the parks around national monuments, or national monuments themselves such as the Statue of Liberty, are some of the best growth places.

You’ll unlock new skins as you make your way through the game for completing various actions, as there is no actual form of money in the game, so it has to be through achievements. Some of them are easy to unlock, while some of them are extremely hard to do. All of them play the same way; their purpose is customization.

Even though the vacuum can be hard to aim and control sometimes, be sure to move quickly. Don’t waste too much time trying to pull objects off of the table, because it can take too long. If you spend too much time in one place, other vacuums can end up eating all of the good stuff before you get a chance to eat it.

Eat the other vacuums for some quick points. Eat multiples in a row for maximum points – the first is worth 10, the next is worth 20, the next is worth 30, and so on and so forth. Also, eat the special items for high point totals, such as limousines, stuffed animals from the beds, and buses out in the city.
