Wasteland Empires is the brand new Crowdstar strategy game for Facebook that represents a shift in paradigm for the company. Whereas their most recent smash hit, It Girl, is about as female-oriented as it gets, Wasteland Empires represents their opening shot in a rapidly growing genre of male-oriented Facebook games. Wasteland Empires runs in a similar vein as games such as War Commander, Backyard Monsters, Edgeworld and Total Domination: Nuclear Strategy, but with more exploration elements and some more citybuilding elements. If you’re new to Wasteland Empires or you hae played for awhile but would like to hear some new advice and gain some new knowledge, keep reading.
You start off the game with nothing but your first water source, a Well of Hope. That, as well as the auixiliary wells that you build later on, provide water for both your houses and your farms. Be careful where you put your wells though, because you absolutely cannot move them later on. Wells are the only items that can’t be moved – everything else can move.
Your houses and farms go hand in hand. Your first house is Simple Housing, but they can be upgraded later on. Your houses increase your population, but to build them, you need farms. Farms raise your level of food – you don’t collect food, they just raise the total by a set amount. The more food and water you have, the higher your population can be.RAID: Shadow Legends - June 2021 Promo Codes

Your three main resources that you need to collect are Biological, Mineral and Mechanical. You can get these four different ways. You can get them from your resource buildings – mills earn you more biological, mines earn you more mineral, and mechanic workshops earn you more mechanical. You also earn all three whenever you clear rubble or scraps. You can get all three in battles whenever you take them from another player’s or from a raider’s mines, mills or workshops. Lastly, you can send and receive all three of them as gifts.
Your military building allows you to train troops and unlock new types of troops. Your troops can only be half of your population, and once you have a new troop, you have one less colonist available to do tasks. Once that troop is either disbanded or killed in battle, they become a colonist again, ready to do tasks. Your first military building is the Martial Hall, and it changes as you upgrade it.
Your town center is where you unlock new technologies. New technologies need to be researched in order to upgrade different buildings, unlock new buildings, new troops and other new things in the game. This, like all other buildings in the game, can be upgraded.
To complete all of your upgrades, you need certain items. Almost all of them can be found by attacking other players, while others have to be sent and received as gifts. Car Batteries are the rarest of these items. You either have to buy them with real world money, attack other players, or invite new people to play, as you can’t gift them.
To attack others, go to the lower right corner of the game screen and click maps. Then pick someone else’s base and click attack. You’ll earn or lose reputation depending on how well you do in the fight. The more buildings you destroy, the less reputation you lose, and, once the reputation bar passes the break even point, the more you gain. Battling other players, unlike other strategy games such as Backyard Monsters, is required in order to advance, since some items can’t be earned without fighting.
Now you’re ready to play Wasteland Empires! Play it and get to fighting!
