Between income cheats, go and buy all of the upgrades that you can. The more of them that you buy, the less that you have to set the time ahead in order to max out offline income. They also make leveling up a quicker process, so that you can even more quickly max out your offline income.
If you want to set the time back to normal, you can do so without messing the game up. Close out of the game entirely (don’t minimize it), then set the time back to normal, then open the game back up again.
