Winterstate – Tips, Tricks, Cheats, How to Beat, and Strategy Guide

Winterstate is a new strategy action game for the iOS and Android platforms. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world wrecked by permanent winter, but still with some semblance of civilization, where you do build up a strong convoy of armored vehicles to do battle against attackers, raid enemy camps, and trade goods and supplies. You can collect diamonds and coins as well for the purchase of more goodies. Read on for some tips and tricks for Winterstate!

Battles are typically fairly easy, but battles against armored opponents can be much tougher. This is where you use the energy spaces to your advantage. Place your vehicle on top of an energy space (yellow with a lightning bolt) to give it a constant energy restoration.

Fuel is required to fight in a battle (this is the game’s form of energy), and when it runs out, you have to wait for it to be restored. Alternatively, you can also go to the date and time settings on your phone and set the time ahead. Set it ahead by an hour or two, and then go back to the game and open it again, and your fuel will be restored.

You win goods in battle, and you can buy and sell goods as well. You want to try to sell the goods where the storms are currently hitting, as they will be more expensive. Buy the goods in places where the weather is good, because coming from an area with no storms, the goods will be cheaper.

You can unlock more vehicles by gaining experience levels – as you gain levels, more vehicles will become available from the workshop. At any time, regardless of levels, you can upgrade existing vehicles that you already have in your storage. Upgrading the increases their attack, their health, or their defense, depending on the level, which is very valuable in a tough battle.

Go to the missions area whenever you need a sense of direction on where to go next. The added benefit of these missions is that you’ll earn loads of coins and experience points by completing them. Certain missions within the game may even earn you free diamonds for completing them – side missions, though, not main story missions.
