The stronger your cards, the better you’ll do in a round, but there are strategy elements beyond this as well. For example, usually you will get matched up by one stat in a battle, or two stats. Pay attention to what the prevailing stat is, and use that not only to pick your wrestler and your boost card (if you have a boost card equipped for that stat).

Play the exhibition mode over and over, so that you can earn more cards. You earn two cards for every victory and one card in every defeat, so after enough games, you’ll be loaded up. It’s tedious but it’s worth it because you’ll clear whole boards full of cards quickly, and somewhere in each one is a rare or super rare card, which will reset the whole board.

After loading up on cards for awhile, you can either combine or upgrade cards. Upgrading a card will allow you to sacrifice other cards, while combining will turn two identical cards into a “pro” version, which is a huge boost at higher levels, but at lower levels, not really so much.

Notice the little triangles (blue and yellow) on all cards except for the diva card? These are for tag teams. Mismatch triangle colors and your stats will drop in that battle. Match colors and they will stay put. Match colors AND shapes and you will get a stat boost.

Deck strength is how teams are matched against each other in King of the Ring. For some easy victories, put in weaker team members right when you begin the battle, just enough so that the tier bar drops.Your tier bar should almost be full, so that you have the rarest possible deck without actually moving up to the next rarity. That’s the ticket to easy PvP wins.
