BitLife is a game where you can simulate the life of another person using only text. You can live from year to year, live a full life, and earn money, but you can also engage in relationships with other people. You can be gay, straight, or bi, you can get married and have babies, you can cheat or try to propose threesomes, and more. Read on for a guide on every aspect of love and relationships with BitLife!
From the start, you can choose whether you are gay, straight, or bi. Most characters that you create will have heterosexual tendencies, while some will have gay tendencies, or both. You can ignore these and choose whatever sexuality you want, then live your life the way that you want, with little noticeable effect coming from your initial tendencies.
From then on, you can live either as a hero or a villain, just like in any other aspect of the game. Build your relationship with a partner by spending time with them. Propose marriage once the relationship is strong enough, and they will most likely accept. Plan the wedding, then the honeymoon. Then you can live the married life.
Pregnancy can happen at any time, especially in a heterosexual relationship. You can randomly become pregnant with a spouse. If you hookup with someone, you can become pregnant, too. If someone proposes a one night stand when you’re visiting the gym, club, library, or elsewhere, even that can cause a pregnancy, and you might never see the other parent again, especially if your character is female.
If you want to try for a hookup, you can, and there’s a chance that you might never be caught, but if you are caught, your relationship will be toast. If you try to propose a threesome, and your partner rejects you, then you have the choice to argue with your partner about it or not. If you choose not to, then your relationship will not be affected. If you do argue, and it fails, then your relationship will suffer hard, and you’ll have to hit “spend time” a lot in order to restore it. Hit the movie theater with a spouse in order to strengthen your relationship with them, too.
When picking a spouse, a number of traits come into play. Looks determine if they will get with you or not. If they look better than you do, the chances drop. The same goes with money; if they are poorer or about the same wealth level as you, it will be easier to get with them then if they are rich and you are poor. Craziness determines if there is a chance of some weird incident ending your relationship. Smarts also determines if there is a chance of hooking up with someone, but if you aren’t smart, you can improve that with studying in school and with going to the gym and the library.
