Bloxorz: Roll the Block is a new level-based puzzle game for the iOS and Android platforms where your goal is to roll an oblong block that’s 2 cubes long and one cube wide, collect three stars, and beat the level. You only have a limited number of moves, so plan them out before you make them. Once you complete the first few levels, it’s easy to look ahead and see what directions you’ll have to roll in, in order to move the block properly. You can either roll a standing block in any direction for a two block move, roll a lying block to the side, or stand up a lying block, for a one-block move.

There are two different game modes that you can play – a normal mode and a star mode. In the normal mode, your star rating is based on finishing the level in the minimum number of moves. In the star mode, you have to collect the stars in order to finish the level and complete the game. You still have to finish in a minimum number of moves, though.

Not only can you finish with three stars, you can finish with a crown for the level, as well. If you finish in a normal mode game with the minimum number of moves, you get a Design Move, and a crown. If you finish a star mode game with the minimum moves possible, you get a challenge move, and a crown. It won’t always seem possible to get both a challenge move and three stars, but it is possible.

You have to win a certain number of stars to unlock the next level set, but it doesn’t have to be all of the stars in the current level set – just a specific number. If you’re having hard times with a specific level, you can use a pass in order to autoplay the level. If you autoplay a level, you’ll only get two stars, but sometimes those stars are what’s needed to block the next level set.

You also have a limited number of hints – use those and you still have a chance at getting three stars on a level. The guide will show you all of the moves that you have to make; all you have to do is imitate what the guide does, and you’ll get all of the rewards.
