Merge Plane: War Thunder Quests – Unlock and Master the War Thunder Event

Merge Plane has its standard game mode that’s available at all times, but oftentimes, special events pop up too. First, there is/was the Space Trek (AKA Star Trek) event that gave players major opportunities to earn gems, and now there’s the limited-time, recurring War Thunder mode which allows players to do the same thing. Read on for tips on how to access and complete the War Thunder event and quests!

This is a limited-time event, so it only shows up for a specific amount of time, and it only shows up on a specific platform. Sometimes it shows up on the iOS ones, and other times, it shows up on the Android platform. The inaugural War Thunder event showed up for exactly 66 hours on Android only. According to the developers, it will show up on iOS in the future, and then it will occur again at different times on both platforms.

With the War Thunder event, there are 15 planes that you can unlock in total. The unlocks happen in the same way as they do during the main game – you merge the level 1 planes to make a level 2 plane, merge the level 2 planes to make a level 3 plane, continuing all the way up to level 15. You’ll unlock more advanced planes in the plane store around the time that you unlock the level 5 plane.

Even when the event is inactive, you can still see the War Thunder quests in the quest menu. Look over them to see the details on them, and to see how many gems you can earn for each quest that you complete in that mode. The higher the plane level, the more gems that you’ll earn from completing the quest.

Like Space Trek, War Thunder also has its own secondary currency that you can exchange your usual coins for. Use this one the same way that you would in the regular mode, which is to drop the price of planes and to increase the earnings from your runways. Smart use of these can lead to extremely high ranks in the tournament.

The developers typically won’t provide notification ahead of time when the event is about to happen. You just have to keep checking back with the game to see if the event button appears. It will appear in the lower right corner of the screen when it does show up.
