SEGA Heroes: Top Tips, Walkthrough, Cheats, Hacks, and Strategy Guide

SEGA Heroes is a new puzzle RPG starring a wide variety of characters from Sega franchises including Sonic, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Phantasy Star, and others. Your goal is to unlock loads of Sega characters by earning shards, and to complete quests and earn coins and gems. You can unlock all sorts of game modes including PvP and endless survival as well as others. Read on for some tips and tricks for SEGA Heroes!

There are two main ways to improve your characters. One of them is to increase their experience level. All that you have to spend in order to do this is coins, and the maximum character level is the same as the maximum player level. The other is to evolve your player and increase their star rating. This can be done once you’ve collected a full load of hero shards for a character that you already have.

Need to find more shards for a specific character? Go to the character select screen and tap on “find!” in order to see where you can pick up shards for a character. All of the levels that are locked will be grayed out and behind a lock icon; once you make it to those levels, the gray will go away, as will the lock icon. Play the levels, and especially raid the levels, in order to quickly build up the shards necessary to summon a new character or to evolve one of your existing characters.

One of the quickest ways to earn ways to earn rewards is to loot a stage that you have already earned three-stars on. To do this, go to the level and hit loot instead of fight. One loot costs the same amount of energy as a fight, and you can do multiple loots at the same time. This is also an extremely easy way to gain player levels.

Collect your free chests as often as they pop up. Additionally, compete quests to earn coins, gems, and character shards. The daily quests refresh once a day and typically earn smaller gifts such as coins and experience. The achievements are tougher to earn and are limited, but they have the potential to earn you gems, as well as plenty of other goodies.

When you’re in battle, use four-piece and five-piece combinations to make star tiles. Make a combination using the star tiles in order to blow them up, causing multiple pieces on the board to be cleared. You can’t mix two special tiles together; all that you can do is combine them with at least two other gems of the same color.
