How to play Smurf Life for iOS (part 3): FAQ, Walkthrough and Beginner’s Guide

Welcome to part 3 of the Smurf Life beginner’s guide! Click here to go back to part 2 of the guide.

Each time that you complete a quest, and night falls, a party will happen. Once this party happens, you will be able to talk to all of the smurfs that you rescued, and watch as your smurf village grows in size. This serves no real purpose other than to give you a little diversion aside from completing quests. You can leave the party any time that you want to.

Energy allows you to gather resources from the trees, stones, rose bushes and other resource items. Once you use up all of your energy, you will either have to wait for it to come back, buy more energy using moondust, or gain an experience level so that you get a full energy refill. Moondust is your premium currency in this game, and it will allow you to buy premium clothing items, more energy and other items which speed up the game. Trade tokens, as noted before, are your primary source of energy.

Tap on the arrow underneath your name, and you’ll be able to look at your various job levels, as well as your inventory and your wardrobe. Your profession levels show your experience at both building and alchemy, and both of them serve as your “experience levels” in the game. To increase your profession levels, keep crafting items.

Also, each time that you craft an item, you’ll work towards increasing your proficiency levels at each recipe. The higher your recipe level goes, the faster that you will be able to craft said recipe next time. If you run out of space in your inventory, you can either spend moondust, or check the trading post bulletin board to see if you can trade any of your items there. You can also buy items and do various jobs and quests that you find on the bulletin board.

You can buy Magic Plant Remover, a premium item, from any of the smurfs that you can trade with. Also, if you don’t have a recipe but it’s part of your quest, simply keep crafting recipes you already have until your profession level increases enough that you can make the new recipe.

That’s all for the beginner’s guide to Smurf Life! Enjoy the game!
