NFL Shuffle is a new trading card game by GREE for the iPhone and other iOS devices. In this game you can pick from your favorite NFL teams and even create your own team name, and you can not only play against every real life team in the NFL, complete with their real players, but you can play against other players and play in various challenges and events as well. Read on for some tips and tricks for NFL Shuffle for the iPhone!

In each game in season mode, you get one shuffle and three swaps per half. Use them judiciously, as your use of them can greatly affect the outcome of a game. On defense, you should use them to make sure that your cards are at least fairly evenly matched against the opposing team’s cards, because if they are at least evenly matched, they aren’t going to get anywhere.

In the offense mode, though, you want to make sure that your offensive lineups are as lopsided as possible. If your next two cards are your 4,000 point card against a 3,000 point card and your 3,000 point card against the other team’s 2,000 point card, for example, switch the two because there is a slim chance of a big play with small point advantages, but there is a HUGE chance of a big play when your big card goes against the other team’s weak card. The only exception should be if you are already within about 20 yards of the endzone.

Since it’s very rare for you to get a high grade (4 or better) card that already has a ton of points, pick a medium grade card (grade 2, around 1,800 points to start with) and use mentoring to power it up massively. Sacrifice six cards at a time to mentor this one card, and you can more than double the point power of this card. After doing this a few times (your card should be in the high 3,000s to low 4,000s by the time you finish), pick another card to do this to. Offensive cards are the best to do this to, because they will have the biggest impact.
