The coin magnet pickup is one of the most valuable ones that you can get because for the 20 seconds or so that you have it, all of the coins will be drawn to you, so that you don’t have to actively think about collecting them. The boost pickup will make you go at double speed, and make you invincible, all for about ten to fifteen seconds. There’s no chance of dying while you have the boost pickup, either. The gold pickup with the infinity symbol on it will fill your power meter another notch.

Many of the abilities that you can buy will further enhance these pickups. You can increase the shield duration, coin magnet, and boost distance by 25 percent each, and you can upgrade each one of these up to five different times apiece. You can also upgrade many other elements of the game. The coin value booster causes red coins (worth two coins each) to appear after 1,500 meters, then after 1,000 meters after the upgrade 2. Upgrade 3, 4, and 5 will cause blue coins (worth 3 coins each) to appear after (respectively) 3,000 meters, 2,500 meters, and 2,000 meters apiece, in addition to the red coins that are already appearing.

The “Save Me” is the chance to recover after you have already died, and it costs one gem to do the first time, two gems the second time, four gems the third time, eight gems the fourth time, etc. Buying the save me boost will decrease the price by one gem, unless the price is already one gem. The head start boost will decrease the price of a head start power up, while the score multiplier will add one to the multiplier – 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x and 6x.
