There are three different battles per level – easy battles, medium battles and hard battles. Hard battles have different sets of goals, and sometimes the goal is to kill the hero for the other side, which can be tough to do. The easy way to do it is to do the following.
Make use of exploring, and keep exploring and exploring and exploring. Explore enough and you will start finding cards with two or three stars, or even more later on. Then add these rare cards with high hit points to your group. Add at least one healer card to your group, as well.
Then when you fight with an enemy, your first card (as well as all other ones) will be very tough, but with your healer constantly healing it, it will be almost impossible to beat. This will contribute greatly to having a whole host of cards with which to attack the other team’s hero.
When you are using enchant to power up one of your cards, it is best to only enchant the target card using one material card at a time. The reason is, if they gain a level, they will not gain any additional experience points after that level gain, no matter how many you would normally get from the combination of sacrificed cards. Same thing for the runes.
