Highrise Heroes is a new word puzzle game for the iOS platform by veteran gamemaker Noodlecake Studios, makers of the ever popular Flappy Golf among many other games. Your goal here is to make words in a board that’s not unlike Scramble with Friends, but with an urgency and a style of dropping the tiles that brings to mind a Tetris or a Candy Crush instead. You have a maximum of five lives at a time. Any time that you lose a stage, you lose a life, and any time that you lose a life you have to wait awhile for it to come back. The alternative, though, is to set the time ahead on the date and time settings of your phone or tablet. Do that and then go back to the game and as long as the time has been set ahead enough, you will get all of your lives back for free.
Gems are the premium currency of the game and are used to purchase many goods in this game. If you want to get more free gems, go to the IAP store screen, but instead of buying, scroll down to the offers, such as liking or following the game on Facebook and Twitter, or you can get two free gems for watching an advertisement video.
Demolition tiles are one of your most effective ways of beating any stage easily. Make a word of at least four tiles to get a demolition tile in red, and make a word of at least seven letters to get a gold demolition tile. Make longer words as well simply because they earn you more points.
Watch out for oxygen loss as well. When you lose oxygen, you have a risk of one of your characters passing out before you even finish a stage. Make sure to connect at least one word with blue tile character to your character whenever you pop an oxygen tile.
There are not that many levels in the game yet, but expect more of these levels to be added in the future with updates that have more of the levels attached as a footnote the the upgrade itself.
