There are plenty of functions that you can use aside from simply tapping on objects or using the “search” function. For example, if you tap the Edit button, you can move any item around that you want. This can actually speed up quests – just put all of the important items next to each other so that you don’t have to go far in order to find them. Plus, many items can be put in storage if you don’t want to see them around.

Hit the “inventory” button to find all of the items that you have put away, and more. You can’t buy buildings in the marketplace, but when quests call for it, you can find brand new crafting buildings in the “Craft Station” tab of the inventory. Under the Impossible Things tab, you can actually trade in three or four different items for one brand new, rare item. Expect this feature to have use in future quests, as there is only one active trade-in item right now with others “coming soon”, a sure sign that Disney is working on more quests to add to the game.

Other items that you can put in there will be food and plants (which are mostly acquired from searching plants), decorations (which are put in there by using the edit function to store decorations), tools, and craft items. Wonders and Possibility Potions go under the “special items” tab. Tools are collected from various places, and they, like other items, can also be bought in the market.

There is actually a surprisingly strong social component to the game. You can link the game up to both Facebook and Game Center, add people as friends and neighbors, and visit each others’ worlds. You can send each other messages and (most importantly) gifts. And, unlike most games, you can do everything on BOTH Game Center and Facebook. Usually, Game Center doesn’t get all the good options that Facebook does, but Disney doesn’t discriminate here.

That’s the beginner’s guide to Alice in Wonderland: A New Champion! Enjoy the game!
