It seemed like it had been awhile since Glu Games had released a game, but they are back in triumphant fashion with Gears & Guts. Gears & Guts is an overhead-view driving game, almost like a Grand Theft Auto type of game, except that your goal, mainly, is to annihilate zombies and deliver things. There are all kinds of zombies for you to destroy, from the big fat Goobers to fast zombies that will jump on your car or throw things at your, but your job is to destroy ’em all! Immediately after you finish the tutorial, you will be able to switch cars, because you have another car in your inventory. The Blue Hawk is your starting car, but go to the Loadout and tab over and you’ll find that you also have a red car called the Scorcher, which is far more powerful than the Blue Hawk. Switch over to that immediately.
Once you do that, play a stage or two until you earn a power up that you can put on the side of the car. Go to the loadout and equip one of the side powerups, such as the buzz saws, because they will earn you a LOT of experience points for killing zombies due to the massive quantity of damage they due.
If you need to gain more experience points or get more items, go back and play one of the quick missions, especially mission 1-2 where you have to kill five goobers. Play it over and over again, and each time you complete it, you will get more cards for the Loadout. Combine the ones you don’t need with the ones you do need in order to power up the ones you do need greatly.
If you want to power up one of your guns a LOT, combine a car that you don’t need into a gun that you are using. Due to the high power level on the car, the level of the gun will increase multiple times over.
