There are many things that you can unlock each time that you gain a level. For example, a number of notifications will flash on screen informing you of what you just unlocked in the store. Starting at level 4, you can also unlock permanent player upgrades. To get there, go back to the main menu and hit the yellow button next to the gold counter. If you have the cash, you can unlock any skill that you want.

Cash is the primary currency of the game. As you complete more missions on the mission screen, you will earn more cash as rewards. In addition, you earn cash as a reward for collecting points in the main game itself. The more points that you get in one single round, the more cash that you will earn for that round.

Go to the store menu and you can buy a number of items with cash. You can buy new weapons, new head gear, new body armor, new pants, and random gear such as grenades, which you can throw at an enemy in either mission or multiplayer mode and blow them up. Weapons come in multiple forms, from machine guns (low damage, low accuracy, high fire rate) to sniper rifles (high damage, high accuracy, low fire rate), with assault rifles, pistols, shotguns and bazookas also in there. Which weapon you should use depends on your style and your preferences, although most may argue that the bazooka is the best weapon.

Body armor (arms, legs, head included) increases various other stats. For example, they can increase your agility, your defense, or how much life you have left. Upgrades usually enhance the same thing, although there are some unique upgrades, such as the level 30 upgrade that allows you to drop grenades when you get killed.

A number of other helpful items exist as well. From the main menu, go to achievements to figure out what you have to do to earn each achievement in the game. Go to the leaderboard to find out where you stand among all of the rest. Go to Extras to check out all of the credits and even to see another FAQ that will help with the game. Enjoy The Respawnables!
