Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign is a new match three puzzle-RPG featuring the Avengers. A new organization has formed called H.A.M.M.E.R., and your goal is to take them out, then take out a whole massive cast of supervillains from the comics, using skills that have been honed from previous days of crushing some candy! This game can get very difficult, very fast, so here are the top 10 tips and tricks for Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign!
10) Look for matches of four and five as often as possible.
Matching three will do damage to the opponent, but matching four will do far more damage and take out the entire row of tiles. Matching five will do even more damage, take out the entire row of tiles, and give you one free turn! Take the match of four or five over any other match that may be available on the board at the time.
9) Play every single player match multiple times until you earn all of the rewards.
Each battle has between two and four possible rewards (you’ll see how many rewards on the battle select screen, and how many you have gotten so far). Play each match multiple times until you earn every reward.

8) Go for the toughest enemy in the battle first.
Oftentimes there will be one enemy that’s stronger than the others in the battle, particularly because it has an extra strong attack or because it has a healing power that can make it difficult-to-impossible to kill off the other enemies. Target this enemy first and defeat it so that when you beat it, the other enemies in the battle become very easy to defeat.
7) Play a strong defense.
Many skills, such as the Armored Assault that Iron Man uses, are great defensive skills, because they’ll place white shield tiles on the board, which will protect your heroes from damage just by being there (each one shield tile reduces the damage that each attack does by 1. Leave the tiles there as long as possible. Don’t knock them off the board.
6) Set the time ahead on your phone to heal wounded heroes immediately.
Yup, just set the time ahead by however much time it will take for heroes to recover all of their hit points. This will eliminate the need to waste your heals on heroes that haven’t lost all of their hit points, instead allowing you to save them for dead heroes.
