Go to the collection area and you will be able to purchase new vehicles. Go to the map area and you will be able to use keys to unlock new cities. Try to pair vehicles with cities as best as possible; star cities tend to have the most deliveries, making these easy ones to pair with, or you can have the game match cities for you.
When you send a vehicle out on a job, you will be able to choose the route. Obviously, you want the vehicle to get to the destination as quickly as possible, but even after the delivery, it can be beneficial to send your vehicle to a different city. Have your vehicle end its journey in a larger or better-connected city for a better chance at having more cargo to send, especially for vehicles that can hold a lot of cargo, such as the military truck.
Make sure to purchase all available vehicles, no matter how strange they might seem at first. The horse drawn carts, the tractors, and other slowpokes might take a while to get to their destination, but often they can hold a lot of cargo at once, which can turn them into a huge income booster, especially if you set them and let them go for a while.
Make sure to unlock new cities as quickly as you can not only so that you have more places to take deliveries from, but so that you have more places to take deliveries to. The more cities that you unlock, the more deliveries that will be available from the cities that you already have.
