Ark of War is a new space-themed MMO strategy game for the iOS and Android platforms. You run a space colony, and your goal is to dominate the other arks in your server as well as take over resource tiles for more food, parts, electricity, gas or cash. You can do this either individually or (ideally) as part of an alliance. Read on for some tips and tricks for Ark of War!
The quickest way to get your base up to speed is to join an active alliance quickly, do the hint upgrades, and then ask for help completing the ones that you can’t finish for free automatically. The higher your VIP level is, the more of them that you can speed up for free. Your alliance can also speed up your research and troop training.
Tap on your commander’s icon and select a commander, then increase their leadership level using all the magazines that you have. The higher their leadership level, the more troops that you can take to battle with that commander.
Over the course of the game you’ll earn loads of resource boxes, and loads of quest prizes. Don’t collect them until you really need them, because if they remain uncollected, they cannot be stolen by other players. As soon as you collect them, they are free game, so collect them when you need to use them.
In addition to the quests, focus on completing the daily quests and the daily exploration. Daily exploration will earn you free resources with time, so unless you’re absolutely stacked, complete these. Daily quests serve as an addition to the main quests, and can earn you not only resources, but experience and even some free gold (the premium currency of the game).
When you are in an alliance, donate to them in order to receive benefits. If everybody donates, then this works a lot better, so find an active alliance before you move your ark and fully commit. Food production is a particularly important upgrade, as your troops use food just by existing; however, the more you donate, the more it will cost to do the next donation on that one trait, so switch back and forth between traits to upgrade.
If you earn equipment, you can give it to your commander, but you need a forge ship first. Activate your forge ship and you can combine pieces of equipment to turn it into much better equipment.
