Art Inc.: How to stop thieves from stealing your artifacts

Art Inc. challenges you to run an art museum, make a massive amount of money, and collect a huge number of artifacts. Apparently, the museum is in a bad neighborhood, because thieves are constantly stealing your art.

Luckily, there are a few ways to stop them. Read on for some tips on stopping the thieves from taking your artifacts in Art Inc!

The first step to keeping thieves at bay is knowing when they are most likely to strike. Thieves tend to show up either when you come back from being offline for awhile, or when you place a new artifact on display.

If you need to display an artifact, there’s not much that you can do about that, but there is a trick for the offline one. Set your phone to never sleep, and leave the game open (and the phone on a charger) when you go to sleep, and you won’t get robbed.

Caretakers can help to stop you from getting robbed. One-star caretakers can only stop thieves 5% of the time, but the rarer and higher star ratings the caretakers have, the better the chances of stopping thieves.

Two-stars stop 10% of thieves, three-stars stop 15% of thieves, four-stars stop 20% of thieves, five-stars stop 30% of thieves, and six-star caretakers stop 40% of thieves. This doesn’t apply to all caretakers, only to ones with that specific skill.

You can get 1-4 star caretakers from the free hires, which open once every four-hours; however, you can get them immediately by hiring one, then setting your phone 4 hours ahead and going back to the game and hiring another one. Do this as any times as you want to.

For rarer caretakers, spend the 75 gems that it takes to higher them. Max out on your hires by collecting all kinds of free gems.

Of course, if you get robbed, you can always send a caretaker out to get the artifact back. They’ll retrieve your artifact 100% of the time, unlike the quests where a caretaker hunts down a new artifact. So no harm, no foul there.
