Crazy Shopping: UPDATED Walkthrough, Cheats, Tips, and Strategy Guide

Crazy Shopping is a new game by Kwalee where you control a crowd of shoppers, and your goal is to buy as many things as possible in a short period of time. The more that you purchase, the more cash you make. Kind of like how real life should work, right?

You can do all sorts of upgrades to earn more money, unlock brand new stores, and even play through bonus levels where you can earn massive amounts of cash.

Now, with the latest updates to the article, we also wrote up a guide on how to beat some of the harder levels in the game.

Read on for some tips and tricks for Crazy Shopping!

You have to run into the store, grab everything that you can, run back out, then put everything that you just bought into the truck. However, if time runs out before you get back to the truck, while you still have a bunch of items in hand, they will automatically be counted into the truck, meaning that you will still earn money for them. So even if you don’t have much time left, grab everything that you can.

When you pick up an item, it will not be in the store again the next time that you play. That’s why the store keeps looking emptier and emptier every time you try the same store again. If you run out of items in one room, look for other rooms to find more items in. You’ll know that the store has been entirely depleted once you see the “New store unlocked!” pop-up flash on the screen.

You don’t need to grab every item in the store in order to unlock a new store, though. All that you have to do is find the special golden items. The items will be shown in silhouette form below the timer until you pick them up. So scan the store for these items and once you find the last one, a new store will be unlocked.

Before you take your first turn in the new store, you will get a shot at doing a bonus stage. This stage consists of one small room, and contains nothing but golden bags worth $75 apiece. You have one shot to complete this; after time runs out or after you pick up every single item, then you’ll move on to the next standard level.

An easy way to look for the golden items is to 1) look for the sparkling in the air, which comes from said items, and 2) knock over everything in the store, to see if any of the golden items are hidden behind stacks of other items. Golden items are typically a gold clone of one of the ordinary items in the store, so they usually are hidden in the same stack.

In addition to looking for the golden items, also focus on grabbing the largest items, or the items that would be more expensive in real life. Handbags, for example, would be more expensive than food items. Televisions and boats, however, would be far more expensive than both.

Try buying anything you can, even if it’s huge and even if there is only one of it. If one of your guys can’t pick it up, then try simply pushing it towards the truck. When you see it fly into the truck, that’s how you’ll know if it’s purchasable or not, and often, these items are the most expensive of them all.

After each run ends, you will be able to watch an advertisement video in exchange for a free cash doubler or tripler. These videos are very much worth it if you make big money on a run due to large or special items. If you finish a run full of cheap items, though, then don’t bother watching the video.

You have three main upgrades that you can purchase with your cash. Purchase the crowd upgrade to increase the number of shoppers under your control. Purchase the time upgrade to add one more second to your time. Purchase the offline income upgrade to increase the amount of money you earn per minute when you’re not actively playing the game.

The crowd size upgrade is easily the one that has the most effect. Each shopper can hold one item, so the more shoppers that you have in your crowd, the more items that you can buy. They can get a bit unwieldy when you get a huge crowd, but it’s very worth it to increase shopping speed.

The time upgrade is hardly worth it at all unless you can afford to buy at least five upgrades at a time. You start off with thirty seconds, so six upgrades only increases your time to thirty-six seconds. Your money can be better spent elsewhere.

While offline income is the easiest one to ignore, it’s also the one that’s the most effective if you keep it upgraded and purchased. This upgrade earns you cash for doing absolutely nothing, and over a long period of time, the money adds up in a significant way.

Often when you finish a level or buy an upgrade, there will be a video icon that pops up next to one of these upgrades. Use the video icon every time in order to get a free upgrade; not only is that money that you don’t have to spend (which is especially useful in the case of time upgrades), but this allows you to race through the upgrades, and as such, the levels, far quicker than before.

Sometimes, there are shortcuts out of a room, but not shortcuts into a room. For example, in the second store, you have to take a ramp up to the side rooms, but you can smash through the glass windows to get back down to the first floor when leaving the rooms.

To beat the level with the giant spinning conveyor belt, run around the outside of the belt and look for the two sparkling gold items. Then run from the bottom of the level across the wheel, push your way over the ledge on the bottom side by just running up until you clear it, then grab the sparkling item from inside the middle of the wheel.
