Crop Master – Merge Crop is a new match-three game for the iOS and Android platforms where you merge fruits and vegetables together in order to make new higher-level fruits and vegetables. You can keep merging crops for as long as you want to, with a nearly unlimited amount of levels that you can gain.
The draw of a simple game like this is that there are many advertisements claiming that you can actually earn money in real life by playing this game. Simply make it to the point of being able to cash out and you will be able to get money deposited into your account.
With claims like these being made in the advertisements, of course, many people are wondering if this game is a scam or if it’s legitimate, and whether or not you can actually earn money. Has anybody cashed out yet, and is there proof of payment?
The method of gameplay in this game, of course, it’s very simple. All that you have to do is merge fruit together in order to make new kinds of fruits. If you merge three fruit together that are level 1, then you get a new fruit that is level 2, and so on and so forth throughout higher and higher levels.
As you merge fruit together, you will earn coins, which can then be spent in the shop in the game. These coins can then be spent on power ups such as reversing one move, or using the bomb to target a specific piece to get it out of the way so that you have a chance at making a combo if you’re stuck.
Occasionally, when you make a combo, other combos will follow it due to pieces dropping correctly and making new merges. When you get a chain of merges, you create a chain reaction, and when that chain reaction is long enough, you will earn bonus coins.
When you get this bonus, you will also be able to watch an advertisement video if you choose in order to double your coin bonus. Each advertisement video takes between 30 and 45 seconds to complete. You have to have a strong internet connection in order to be able to watch these videos.
When you’re playing, you can tap on the question mark menu in order to get a reminder of how to play. You can also tap on the settings cog in order to change various settings, such as the volume of the music and the background noise.
When you close out the game and then start it back up again, you will be able to either start a new game or continue the game that you left off from. The only reason that you should ever start a new game is if you’re stuck in the game that you were playing before and you decided to close out the app.
Many of the reviews that get left in the App Store or in the Google Play Store show confusion as to how to cash out and get your money. Even though the advertisements make it look like you can earn money, none of the reviews come from anybody who has actually gotten paid.
Out of the positive reviews that show up in the store, they tend to be one of two categories. The first category is people who have only just downloaded the game and have not had a chance to attempt to cash out yet, but are excited because they see a large amount of money piling up.
The second category is scam reviews that have been put in place by the developer or by bought not the developer paid for. Typically, the user names will be generic, and some of the reviews will even share text with other reviews of the same game.
On top of that, we have not discovered any actual methods to get paid within the game. The advertisements show something different than what’s actually in the game. From the sound of the reviews, there used to be money and a payment method advertised within the game, but they got removed by a secret update at some point.
What that means is that the advertisements are a scam. The game itself is simply a fun way to kill time by matching fruit together, without the kind of intrusive advertisements that you might see within other games of a similar genre. However, there is not an actual way to make money by playing the game, despite what the advertisements tell you.
Should you still download the game? If you want to have fun playing a simple matching game, then yes. If you are actually looking to win money in real life, then you might want to steer clear of this one.
this game is a scam , i started playing it a few days ago haven’t won anything , since im close to the $300 cash out spot it is not adding the money on there i have won, also the prizes nothing!!!!!!
@jaime, hello there are others games not sure if the payouts are true with the other games it’s great that other people share to get the message out
Yes the closer I got to 300 it stopped adding money
I earned $300 in Crop Master. When I hit $300, a white hand started flashing on the amount. I waited until the icon below showed PayPal, and clicked it. It took me to a page to Cash Out by choosing the PayPal $300 card. It asked for my name and PayPal info. Then I got a window with the message “Queuing. Your current queue position is 2909. Below that was an OK button. Below that, in fine print, it said “There are too many applicants for this award, and it needs to be reviewed by the staff.”
The game worked smoothly through my collecting the first $100. It worked almost as well through the next $150. After that, the board gradually reduced and then totally stopped sending $ to the $collection window for gathered fruits and vegetables. The wheel spin also reduced and then stopped offering the chance to win $, even though it kept showing the dollar icons in the spinner.
It took so long to finish earning the last $40 that I tried to cash out early and just choose the amount I’d won. Not possible. Hoping to cash out for $250 or $200 was also not an option. The only option it offered was to cash out for a $300 card, and it said I had to have the full $300 to cash out. The last $0.82 took a very long time, and the only way to win it was to keep collecting fruits and vegetables until it offered me one of the red boxes with a chance to win a few cents.
I wonder how long I’ll have to wait to be paid my $300 by Crop Master…
@Maria, did you get your $300
@Brittany,
I hit 300 and went to cash out. It said I will receive my money in 3-15 business days. It has been 30+ days and now it shows me as 144 in line to be paid. They don’t respond to emails asking for updates and they have taken the game off of the Apple store. If you have the game delete it. It’s a total scam!!
@Mark Demone,
Same here I am still at 124 then went to App Store to see reviews and it doesn’t seem to be available anymore…same story for me with the game progress! SCAM!
@Mark Demone, yeah, I’ve been waiting for several months and I’m down to being 67 in line to get paid. This game is a joke
@Kathy, I got to number one in line on the 17th nov and I’m staying at number one it seems can’t imagine them paying out
@Chyna Leila, I am stuck at #1 in line as well for the past 2 weeks. It took around 6 months for me to finally hit 1 in queue
@Kathy, I had mine to 1 I even have a screen shot if it then switch to a new phone and the app was still there but wouldn’t download because it’s gone and I was at 1 for 2 weeks still haven’t received any money. Most likely there was another step. But it’s definitely a scam
@Mark Demone, It’s been more than a year for me
I played it for two and a half days, finally made it to the $300 mark. I clicked on PayPal to cash out, went through the process only to be told that I am 2285th in the queue. And got the same message as the person below. Also want to mention that the products that you are supposed to be able to win: while earning the $300, most of the products got to where I only needed one more then stopped giving them. I was one away from winning every single one of them except the hammer. I never needed the hammer in the game.
Scam, false advertising.
Scam!!
Didn’t receive my money why is that
@Tyneace Gilbert, me either and it’s stop to keep you from getting your money I never got mines at all so I quit playing the game a waste of time!!
@Lavonderia,
I have hit the 300 on both coins and cash and both queues were over 2000 they went down quickly to start then when they got to the 150s they both have not moved since. 159 on one 150 on the other. Still no payout to my cashapp and even though it says 5-15 days not counting weekends it’s been over a month and still no actual payout. And now the AppStore doesn’t even have it available anymore. I wish I could sue for false advertising but it’s a moot point sadly.
@Ryne Mallery,
I got to $300 cash and received the same message (queuing started in the 2700s June 21) I’m now 168 for the last two days. Very disheartening that it was a waste of time
@Lakesha,
I’m now at 132 and 123 in my two cash outs been over 60 days since I won and it said 5-15 business days. I’ve emailed them four times and no response yet as well.
@Lakesha,
Update like we all don’t know this is a scam already I have made it to the end !! I am queue at 10 on one 1 on the other but it’s been two days and the 10 went to 8 the 1 hasn’t moved and no money was deposited even though I’m “next in line” no way to contact them and nothing but false advertising and run around. The game was fun but I stopped playing when the cash out was fake
Don’t download the game crop master in your phone i played for 4 days straight, watched a million 30 seconds no skip advertisements, played until I hit $300coupons which isn’t counted like normal money, I finally got it, and it’s not sending the $ like the game said it would-said it takes only a minute – now it reads 3-15 days- after you set it to your paypal for the $300 they owe you there’s a message that reads “There are too many applicants for this reward, and it needs to be reviewed by the staff” BS!
DO NOT DOWNLOAD CROP MASTER IT IS A TOTAL SCAM. This app and it’s employees, not to mention the celebrities who endorse it should be ashamed of themselves for this scam. It preys on the vulnerable, promising to get them out of financial difficulties by playing this game. Whilst making millions on the adverts you watch and not giving the prizes or cash they promise to pay you after you’ve earned it. All games by unity are the same so if you see unity stay well clear. The advertisement ombudsman should be getting these parasites to court for false advertising. And god knows how many desperate people who played this for weeks hoping to get a little bit of money have harmed themselves as they where at rock bottom when they promised to help only to find out they kicked them when they were down. SHAME ON ALL OF YOU WHO AFFILIATE YOURSELF WITH THESE EVIL PEOPLE AND THAT GOES FOR THE CELEBRITIES WHO POCKETED MONEY FOR ENDORSING IT.
Now thinking this is a big scam. In uk it’s £240 to cash out.
Well it’s been over a week waiting. Like others have said. Waiting in a queue. Start off in the 2,000’s n finally a couple of days in the 900’s. Well a week later n we hit 300s wow getting close. Then hit 269 n been there for a day n not moving.
In the real world I should have all the prizes too but no only needing 1 more on all of them. Nothing only get them for the hammer. Which I don’t need.
As the saying goes if it seem to good to be true it most probably not true.
Gutted. Feel a mug 😭
I have reached the $300 but need to get to 3 mil. coins. It is very slow. I am at 2.4 so far after what feels like a week! Just wonder whether I will get paid or is it just an expensive drain on my iphone! Will keep plugging to the 3mil and see what happens:
I have been playing this game haven’t cashed out stuck on the getting new fruit have emailed this company haven’t heard anything from them
This game is a scam! Don’t waste your time playing it. You will never get your payout. I even tried to email them about it and you couldn’t even do that!
I think this game is a scam at its finest. First I want to mention that I had a lot to say about the game and wanted to leave a review. I have been playing up until about an hour ago and this app is nowhere to be found. I can’t find it on my App Store or on my phone. Today I reached the $300 that you are supposed to be able to cash out. It said I was number 2756 in the queue and that there were too many people applying for the award amount. It does not explain what that means. I think this had been a complete waste of time. Plus in the game it also offer puzzle pieces. When you get all the pieces you can win that award like a purse or headphones. There are a few to see BUT they make it a point that you don’t win them. Every gift award only needs one more puzzle piece in my game but what they do is overflow your puzzle pieces on things you can do in the game instead of letting you win a gift. I’m not saying I swore by this game or anything like that but I thought I’d see if it’s real and now it’s a ghost app.
I’m disabled and had time to kill this weekend as I didn’t feel so hot. I have 6 pending cashout totaling $2500. Each “cash out” amount has a countdown of 7 days, even though they say your cash out is “instant” if you reach $500. which I did 5 times. It was easy to cash out and choose PayPal as the receiving account. The game was fun enough, the ads a pain but the trick is to NOT download what they offer and just stay with Merge Crop Master. However, I did download MistPlay which has a good rep but I haven’t tried it yet. Merge Crop Master has been the one game that doesn’t freeze or cause problems for my phone. I really can’t imagine that I will actually get the money but it was worth the try and…what can I say…I had nothing to lose. They don’t charge you for anything (like BlackOut Bingo did–don’t waste your time with that one! Scam City!). The countdowns seem to be going smoothly–the earliest one is at 4 days 18 hours and X amount of minutes. Oh, the one thing I did NOT appreciate is that, after playing and reaching your cashout amount (in this case $500.+), you have to play and watch a total of 30 ads to start your countdown. I will be EXTREMELY happy if the money shows up in my PayPal account but, skeptic that I am, no expectations, no dissapointments. I will update you when the countdowns are over. Fingers crossed.
From SAM 10/3/2022
I couldn’t figure out how to add to my comments above so I replied to myself and added the date so you can see when I posted this update. Here is what is happening. I stopped playing this game a few months ago shortly after my last comments in July. I fully expected my winnings to either disappear, reset to zero and/or at least stop the countdowns on the ones I had “Cashed Out” and fulfilled the committment to watch 30 ads (which starts making you money for you next cashout.) That is why it is hard to stop playing. The reason I thought my winnings would disappear is that I was no longer engaging with the game, thus, not “supporting” their advertisers. When I stopped I had 23 cashouts w/approx. $8,000. owed to my PayPal account.
I’m not sure if I mentioned this in a later post but they have a few forms of “countdowns”: the first being the one that is set for 24 hours–When that countdown ends–whatever you have won, you can “instantly” cash out. If you win $500. +, you can cash out “instantly” without having to wait the entire 24 hours and you can keep playing and winning and cashing out until those 24 hours reset. The second countdown begins after you “cash out” and that is the requirement to keep playing (that starts another 24-hour countdown w/you making money again), only this countdown has a fixed number of 30 ads that you have to watch/go through in order for your payout to go into a queue that starts the third (and hopefully last) countdown before your winnings go into your PayPal account. At this stage what you see for every cashout is a box with PayPal logo in the left upper corner, a banner on the right to corner with the word “Queuing” and, the amount of your winnings for that batch front and center in large green numbers. Underneath that number is a sentence: “Your current queue position is: 108” The number at the end of that sentence changes every day and gets lower every time. Depending on how much you played and cashed out. I think my first cashout was like 1,000+ in the queue. Each box has a pull down ‘menu’ w/3 steps: 1. Collection Completed
You have collected X-amount of dollars within 24:00:00.
2. Progressing…..
There are X-amount players in front of you. Your position will
be refreshed every minute. Thank you for your patience.
NOTE Both of the above sentences are obviously active as they are not “greyed out”
3. Payment successful (all of mine are “greyed out” as I have not yet had a successful payout.)
I have 10 “batches”. Each “batch” has however many cashouts I did within 24 hours–so for instance, 3 or 4 payouts completed all have the same number of days left in the queue.
I wonder how many people have held out this long. If this is not a scam, I should receive my first payment of $1,386.17 (the total of 3 payouts in this batch) in 108 or 109 days..when I become first in the queue.
My observations thus far still have not convinced me that I won’t get paid. Yes, the language around “instant cashouts” when you reach $500. is misleading as many, myself included, would equated “cashout” with payment or pay out. And, yes, they are not clear about after you cash out, the banner on the upper right says, “approving” because you have to keep playing through another 30 ads to be completely cashed out and then in the queue. In fact, I still have $520. waiting for approval because I know if I start to play until I see the required 30 ads, I’ll be sucked back in. I wanted to see what would happen if I stopped playing altogether. Honestly, I thought my cashouts would just disappear. But what I think is that there is NO WAY they could payout the huge amount of monies from winners instantly so, they tried some tricks so people would have a kneejerk reaction, pull out and not come back. I believe they bank on it! The only way they could slow down the payouts would be to do exactly as they are doing. So if it is a scam–oh, well. I had fun. But if it is not…108 days will bring me to January 6, 2023 and I may be $1,386.17 richer with more to come. My last batch is 126 days…so 18 days after January 6th and with 8 batches in between.
Oh, as far as the hammers and other “gifts” I have no idea how that works and I haven’t found any information on how to cash in. While I did dub around with them to no avail, my main focus has been trying to understand how the game works and fulfills its finanical promises. I will update you in January. DStay tuned and have a good bunch of holidays in between now and then. Wish me luck!
Sam
This game is a scam, I started playing it a few months ago, I managed to win $300, but they never deposited me (it’s been way over 15 working days), I’m also 1 point away from winning any of the prizes, but now only the hammer *5 (which I don’t even know what it’s for), as I said, definitely it’s a scam
Dang reading these comments I’m like damn it all fake it allowed me to think I would receive 700 and some in 3 days smh
Crop master is a scam played it until I got 300 it wouldn’t let me cash out, it said like 1500 in cue that was over a month ago and it still on 151.
This is an update to my comments on July 17, 2022 at 07:58 PM. This game is so simple and a little bit fun that I play it while watching TV or listening to the news. While they do have all my PayPal info, I have yet to receive a payment. I truly thought (my first mistake ;-D) that after the countdown, if this was not a scam, I would find the money in my PayPal account. Then, in the update window for my first winnings of $333., I get the message: “Progressing, there are 170 players in front [of you]–this was down from over 2000 players a few days ago. Now I have $3900 (11 cashouts) that the cue is 170-888 and another $1558. (3 cashouts) waiting for 1500-2093 players in front of me, and another $2287 (8 cashouts) waiting on countdowns from 8 hours to 2 days to 6 days and everything in between. My last cashout of $504. is waiting for me to play and watch 30 ads to “approve order.” I will do that tonight and then I am stopping until I get paid or the countdown ends and I don’t get paid.
That said, I noticed the countdown of players in front of me has gone from getting 200-250 players closer (i.e. 2225 players in front to 2000) overnight to just 1 player last night (i.e. 171 to 170). IF this is not a scam, I think the reason they do this is to spread out the money as they get paid by their advertisers. BTW the advertisers are mostly asking you to download more games (DO NOT DO THIS)–just let the ads run and then close them. HOWEVER, they also have some very legit ads like Febreze, Allstate, and other real businesses. This gives me hope for two reasons: 1.) It could mean they are a legit game and 2.) If they aren’t, the way to complain about them is by letting those legit ads what the game is doing thereby putting pressure on them to do the right thing and pay their players.
At this point, I will be so happy if they do pay. However, I know it will still be a while before I will know if this is a scam or not–I am thinking it is and hoping it is not.
One last thing–about the “gifts”…it is SO confusing, I am not sure how they work. I’ve looked around and read whatever I could find to help me understand. The one explanation I found is gibberish and has a lot of typos, made no guarantees after it said it was from a third party–not helpful, not even a little bit. Still, with my eyes wide open I will at some point try to “buy” something with my coins.
I hope this was helpful–I will update when and if I do get paid.
I’ve personally play this game more than 125 times still waiting to cash out my first one it’s been at 275 in the queue I think this game is a scam been waiting over 2 weeks for my first payment I’ll let you guys know if I ever receive it don’t waste your time
This is a scam. You finish out everything they as of you and still no payment. They say 15 days you should receive your bon. It’s been 20 days and it’s still growing. SCAM
This game is a scam I was able to cashout twice. Once $300 the other a thousand and never seen any of the money in my PayPal once the timer went to zero. I’m in the mist of looking for a lawyer for all these false advertising games. I took screenshots of all transactions that never went through. I will pray that this will teach them a lesson by hitting there pockets.
I won the 300$. Spending months waiting for my claim to be processed. Have taken snapshots all along of the agonizing process
Don’t do it!!! It took me FOREVER to agonizingly get to $300 THEN my payout goes in line to process and claim! Thousands in the que before me so I waited. At first the number went down but now maybe goes down one claim a day…I took snapshots the whole agonizing way. Ridiculous!!
It’s fake all the way won money never got it .
Why those games be advertised and they are scams.I am really angry
Some how the game has mysteriously been taken from the App Store. This company owes me money and id like to get it
It would Great to get PAID for the TIME I spent playing your game.. This game does not payout. I’ve had this game downloaded for 6 months now and I still haven’t got NOT ONE payout. I’ve sent an email and still nothing was done. I do not recommend anyone downloading this game for money only for fun. I hate I wasted my time with this game because I was looking for an actual payout, not fun. Please rewrite your introduction, you are giving false intentions. YOU DO NOY PAYOUT‼️
@Jacinta Williams, Be*
You game has not paid me any of my my money
Big scam. Completed both levels to £240 (uk). Waited forever in the queue. Eventually got to number 1 in the queue. And it’s just stayed there. 🙈. Company should be ashamed of themselves.
This game is a complete rip off and they need to be sued for wasting your time and false advertisement once you get to que 1 after waiting for months and months your stuck at number 1 and you are never paid
Absolute scam !!! Finished both coins and dollars and waited 7 months now for payout. Not only am in position “1” I’ve been there for a week now and nothing. I really wish scams like this didn’t exist because it’s unfair to people to advertise this and that and not pay out. It is what it is but they need reprimanded for doing business in bad faith. That’s just my two cents.
No you don’t ever get money it’s a SCAM SCAM.
Scam alert! I played and won $300 but they never pay out, neither the money nor the prize
I’ve been at the #1 spot in their stupid queue for over a month. Never see anything that indicates I’ll get my money. You can’t even email them when you try contact them via their “help” option on the screen. Should be illegal to false advertise by promising payment that will most likely never be made. I have not seen one comment stating a person actually got paid. Booooo. Lame.
Is this why do you put out there and saying that you can win money on this game and I’ve already won money and I’m not receiving it on my cards and I want to know why and it’s supposed to be a good game and stuff or is it a scam that’s what I want to know that’s all I got to say about that put it on my card then I’ll believe you
It is totally a scam I got to the point where I could cash out for $300 and it’s been stuck there for months and no way to even get a hold of them. It’s a fake email.
