Buy the second gun slot for 50 coins, and then buy the larger gun grid for 100 coins. After that, don’t save up for the next size up in the gun grid. Instead, save up for better materials. Upgrading from wood to plastic or wood to metal makes a HUGE difference in power and accuracy of the bullets. Plastic only costs 50 coins and metal costs 150 coins. They are more than cheap enough to buy and they make all the difference in the world.

To get the coins for them, go for the constant free coin prizes that pop up in the “coins” box in the top corner of the screen. Also, play on the stages that you have unlocked which contain the most present boxes, in the most available places. The flower stage is particularly excellent for this. Shoot the gift boxes before you start focusing on winning, because they will earn you the most coins each.

Once you unlock the steel and the larger grid (ignore the plastic), you don’t have to be stuck with a tiny wooden gun in slot number 1 anymore. Hit the red minus button next to the gun to delete it, and then you can build a new grid using better materials and the larger grid.

There are two control schemes you can use: The gyroscope (where you tilt the phone to aim it) and the swiping method (self explanatory). The swiping method is the more accurate method if you are focusing on one specific box, but the tilting method is the more accurate method if you are trying to knock off the most blocks on the screen that you can.

Focus on shooting the red blocks, and the black blocks with gold or blue or silver flakes. These blocks are a bit tougher to destroy, but they are the ones that will earn you the most points out of any blocks in the game. They will especially be helpful once you unlock the steel weaponry, since they will be much easier to destroy.
