Looper!: Top Tips, Walkthrough, Cheats, and Strategy Guide

Looper is a new music-themed quick puzzle game by Kwalee (founded by Codemasters-founder David Darling CBE) for the iOS and Android platforms. Your goal in this one is to set the beat on various lines, and to set multiple beats in such a way that they don’t crash into each other, but instead that they bounce back and forth without hitting each other, giving space to each other. You can earn new styles of beats, unlock new levels, and even get the chance to play secret levels as well. Read on for some tips and tricks for Looper!

You have a total of nine levels per world, with one special level per world. After you beat the ninth level of a specific world, you can watch a video in order to unlock a special level, which is usually FAR more challenging than the main levels of said world. If you can’t figure out how to beat it, you can also watch an ad video in order to unlock the solution.

The ads can be a bit much, because they pop up CONSTANTLY. You can buy an in-app purchase for about three dollars to remove the ads from the game permanently, turning this game into a bona-fide premium game, but if you can’t afford it, then setting your phone or tablet to Airplane Mode does the same thing. Without a data connection, you can play as long as you want, and the ads will be unable to load.

You can customize your beats by giving them a new design, and the designs can be unlocked first when you beat a level. After that, in order to switch to a specific beat design, you have to watch an advertisement video before you can equip it. Only one ad video per beat is required. After you watch the initial ad video, then you’ll be able to equip the beat again and again as many times as you want without having to watch anymore ad videos.

Levels start off easy to beat, but they get harder and harder as you go forward in the world, and even more as you go from world to world. You’ll have more beats to deal with placing, and more complicated patterns to put them through, as well as more obstacles to maneuver them around. A surprisingly large amount of levels can be beaten simply by tapping in rapid succession two times in a row, or even more times in a row.

As you gain experience points, you’ll be able to earn a prize when you gain a level. At the top of the level-select screen it’ll show you how many more points you need in order to earn a prize. Beat a level that you haven’t beaten before, and you will be able to watch a video in order to double your experience points for that level, so that you can earn prizes far more quickly.
