Playmobil Pirates Tips and Tricks guide: Hints, cheats and strategies

Playmobil Pirates is a new Lego pirate game for iOS. It plays similarly to games such as Tap Paradise Cove, but with more battle elements. In this game your goal is to colonize and explore the pirate island that you’ve landed on, as well as fight off Blackbeard and his band of pirates when they try to attack you. It starts off easy but it gets more and more complicated as you go, so read on for some tips and tricks for Playmobil Pirates!

Early on in the game it generally does not take too long for you to place a building. Usually, the building will complete in the span of somewhere between 30 seconds and 2 minutes; however, as you get further in the game it becomes more and more of a waiting game. But there’s a way to defeat said waiting game.

Simply go to the settings on your phone, go to general, and then go to date and time. Then, set the time ahead by however much time it takes to complete the building (or to collect coins, or to circumvent any waiting period in the game in general). Then, go back to the app, and whatever you’re waiting for will instantly complete.

If you have anything older than an iPhone 4s, then the game will normally run glacially slow, but there are some little things you can do to speed it up. Close all of your other apps, first of all, but especially ones which use a lot of CPU space. The worst offenders will be other games.

When you’re in the middle of the tutorial (which lasts a fairly long time), always make sure that there is a lot of space in the middle of your island for you to build something. If you jump ahead in the tutorial and start building other structures, make sure that they are off to the side. If you’re in a part of the tutorial where you have to build something, such as the pirate hideout, and you don’t have space, then the game won’t let you move other structures first, so the only action that you will be able to take is to delete the game, download it again and start the tutorial again.
