The tutorial is a little bit long, but as you make your way through, you will unlock more and more permanent locations, game modes, activities, and ways to earn resources, gold, emeralds, and more. The game will start to require a little bit more independence in order to Pass the next quest right around the time you hit chapter 14 or so.
Often, you will have to earn gold in order to do the necessary upgrades to move on. The easiest ways to get more gold are to search for and attack other ships, using the search button in order to narrow them down to the exact level that you want , and to steal their loot. Once you have their loot, take it to the nearest port and sell it even if you get offered a lousy price, you will still be able to collect a decent amount of cash overtime.
Make sure that you sell all of your loot before you logged off-line for the night. When you are off-line, other players can attack you, and they can steal any of your loot that has not been sold, and any of your gold that has not been spent. The best way to become an unattractive target is to spend everything before you log off
Be sure to log in every day, even if you don’t plan to play actively. Logging in daily will give you bonus prizes, such as super rare characters, and will allow you to increase your VIP level for free, simply by clicking on the VIP tab and collecting your reward. Follow the red dots in order to find all of the other free rewards that this game has to offer.
Join a gang in order to get the most benefits possible. you can fight in gang wars, unlock benefits using the savviness tab, collect gifts, make donations that all allow you to collect even bigger and more gifts, and a whole lot more. If your gang stops being active, then jump ship and join another gang that has active players.
