SSSnaker is a wildly popular roguelike for the iOS and Android platforms where you play as a robotic snake with gun turrets on your body, and you grow more powerful and longer (and more colorful) as you go through the game. Part of this is due to collecting coins and gems, but what really gets you to the next level is collecting weapons and equipment. Equipment can be found in almost every rarity imaginable, and the more rare the equipment is, the better the stats will be.

To start, the equipment comes in rarities of normal, good (green), rare (blue), epic (purple), legendary (gold), and mythic (red). As you might have guessed, the equipment with the higher rarity is the stuff that has the best stats, but is also the most difficult to find. It’s worth it, though, because as you get into the higher stages, this becomes absolutely necessary to make it through to the next level.
Getting the good and the rare equipment is very easy. Normal boxes can contain good equipment, while super boxes and rampage boxes can contain both good and rare equipment. Additionally, you can fuse three identical pieces of normal equipment to make one good piece of equipment, and you can fuse three identical good pieces of equipment to make one piece of rare equipment.
Epic equipment is where things start to get extra fun. You can sometimes get epic equipment from a super box or a rampage box, or you can get a piece of epic equipment instantly by fusing three identical pieces of rare equipment together.
Once you get to epic equipment, this is where things start to get extra fun, because the fusion game changes. If you merge two epic equipments from the same category of equipment together (they don’t have to be identical, just the same category), then you will get an epic +1 piece of equipment. Merge three epic +1 equipment items from the same category together and you will get an epic +2 piece of equipment.
Finally, once you merge two identical (yes, identical) epic +2 pieces of equipment together, you will get a piece of legendary equipment. From here, the cycle begins again, but the rules of the merge change yet again.
Merge two legendary equipment items from the same category to get a legendary +1 equipment. Then merge two legendary +1 items together from the same category to get a legendary +2 item. Then merge two legendary +2 items from the same category to get a legendary +3 item. Finally, merge two legendary +3 items together to get a mythic (red) item.
Mythic is the highest category of equipment that it’s possible to get, but that doesn’t mean the merging is done. Mythic equipment follows the same rules as legendary equipment, where 2 mythics make a mythic +1, two of those make a mythic +2, and two of those make a mythic +3. The highest tier right now is mythic +4, which can be made by merging two mythic +3’s together.
Finally, the S-grade equipment is a special category of epic equipment that you can acquire from the rampage box only. It has base stats that are FAR higher than those of regular epic equipment, but it can be fused in the exact same way as other epic equipment.
What this means is that it can eventually become S-grade legendary and mythic, all the way up to S-grade mythic +4. This will be the best and strongest equipment in the game by far, so if you end up with an S-grade piece of epic equipment, then evolve it all the way to the top.
