The Godfather: Family Dynasty is a new MMORTS for the iOS and Android platforms. Your goal is to start your own crime family, work your way up from small-time to being a wealthy and feared crime lord. You do this by racking up buildings, businesses, lieutenants, button men, and weapons, then mixing it up against other arrival crime families and of the lot. When you are battling against other players and against computer controlled opponents, the action will happen automatically and you will be able to watch it. If you don’t want to spend all that time seeing and analyzing it, though, just hit the skip button and you will go straight to the battle result. Do this when you are on a spree and you will be able to get through a multitude of battles very quickly and speed up your progress.
If you are not quite sure what to do or where to go next, always look at the next quest ahead of you. Tap the button that shows what the mission is, and do what you need to do to complete the mission, whether it is upgrading a building or fighting against another crime boss in order to retake the territory that they are occupying. The further and further you get, the more you will be able to deviate from the quests, but following them is never a bad decision.
Scout other players before you decide whether or not to attack them. If their power levels are higher than yours, then most likely, you will want to avoid them and spend time on acquiring weapons, lieutenants, and shooters. If your power level is higher than theirs, that means that you have a good chance to win the battle.
Join a crime family as soon as you can. There are numerous benefits of being a part of a crime family, such as being able to speed up construction on each other’s project. Any construction project that has five minutes or less to complete is free; for the other ones, send them to the family. Make sure to join up with an active family, not one made up of players who have since quit the game.
Your mansion is the center of all of your operations, so if it is not at a high enough level, you will be hamstrung as to what you can build. Always work to get your mansion upgraded, and if you don’t meet the requirements yet, follow the requirement list until you do meet them by upgrading everything that you need to. Since they can take a long time to finish, let them sit overnight if you have to.
