World at Arms for iOS: How to get free medals and coins

World at Arms is the new war game for the iPhone, iPod Touch and other iOS systems. As the Americans, your goal is to fight back against the KRA, the foreign army who has launched a nuclear attack on your territory and is now invading you, trying to take you over. Build your country and your base back up and eventually, you can even defeat the KRA altogether! Medals are the premium form of currency in the game, and coins are the primary form of money. Read on to find out how to get more of both!

The way to get free medals is rather easy. Go to the medals counter when you’re in the middle of the game, and hit the plus sign next to it. Once you do, a menu full of medal offers (pay money, get medals) will pop up, but look in the lower left hand corner of the screen. When you do you will see a very small button that says “free medals”.

Once you tap it, you will be taken to an offer wall through Tapjoy that is completely loaded with offers. Most of them will give you medals for free in exchange for completing a free offer, while others will give you medals for free in exchange for completing an offer which costs you some money in order to do. In addition, if you log in at Tapjoy.com and search for World at Arms offers, you’ll find significantly more free offers for this game.

One of the best ways to get free coins is simply to tap on all of the tanks, hummers and other assorted vehicles that are constantly driving around your base. Each one that you tap gives you free coins (anywhere between 2 and 9 free coins).

In addition, tap any of the planes that fly overhead in order to earn significantly more free coins. Unlike the tanks and ground based vehicles, planes will earn you a fairly significant amount of coins – anywhere between 10 and 60 if you tap them successfully. While it may not seem like tanks and planes earn you a whole lot of coins, they really add up if you stay at it for awhile, and they can be a major boon in being able to afford more and better troops and buildings.
