There are two different types of currency in Angry Gran Toss, the first one being the aforementioned Granny Gold (or just gold), which you earn each time that you play a round of Toss. Gold is what you use to purchase most of what you’ll find in the store, and is the primary currency of the game.

The second type, however, is the premium currency, Gems. You normally have to buy these in order to earn them – however, you can earn them for free by completing various achievements, which can be found in the “trophy” icon in the main menu. There are 22 total achievements, and each one will either earn you a free pet, or free gems. Gems can be used to purchase the more advanced items in the game.
Pets can be equipped before you play, and each one gives you a certain buff that improves your play in a stage. For example, they can earn you more coins, or you can go farther if you equip a certain pet. If you unlock the main 21 pets, pet number 22, a mystery pet, will be unveiled to you. You can either unlock them with achievements or by buying a new pet in the store.
More items of interest are on the main menu as well. For example, if you sign into the game via Facebook or Twitter, you can earn free gems and free gold. You can check out the introduction to the game again, or you can hit the question mark button to see answers to questions you might have about the game. Or you can click on the “more games” tab to, of course, download more games. Click on the speaker logo to adjust the sound.
