Hercules: The Official Game is Gameloft’s new officially-licensed game tie-in with the brand new Hercules movie, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. This is an iOS and Android fighting game along similar lines to Injustice: Gods Among Us, requiring a constant blend of attacking, blocking, deflecting attacks, and special moves to win fights, along with a smorgasbord of equipment upgrades and even new characters that tie in from the movie. Until then, you’ll still need to win battles in order to earn silver, so go to the Sword for Hire section for an endless array of free and easy practice battles. Use your shield to block attacks as well. You’ll need stamina for this, but you’ll have at least enough stamina for one barrage of attacks. And when it is your turn to attack, swipe as quickly as possible, using two alternating fingers if you have to in order to attack as rapidly as possible.
Gold is the premium currency of the game. Despite this, it’s actually fairly easy to get free gold. You have two opportunities to do so in the IAP store (by watching advertisement videos or completing offers), and they add up over time to give you more than enough for a premium weapon or two. Plus, you can earn free gold from completing a specific labor or gaining experience levels.
Another way to earn free gold is to complete the achievements. Achievements are time limited, and you have three achievements per round. Once you complete the achievements, you will earn two free pieces of gold. If the time runs out, your achievement progress will be lost, but you will still be able to start on three new achievements.
Energy works the same way too. You can’t do the time lapse trick for free energy in this game, so you’ll either have to wait for the energy to come back, buy more energy using gold, or if you gain an experience level, you will earn a complete refill of your energy bar.
