Treasure Run is a new side scrolling endless running game for the iOS and Android platforms by TeamLava. Your goal is to run as far as you can and collect as many coins as you can (as your coins are your score), collect gold and gems that you can purchase new runners and upgrades with, and compete in the tournaments against your friends and globally for the highest score possible. Read on for some tips and tricks for Treasure Run!
The best way to win gold is in the runs, but gems are tougher to find. One way to get more gems is by connecting to Facebook, as that will earn you a free 40 gems. You can then use the gems to purchase gold if you want to. Complete the achievements (inside of the scroll in the upper left hand corner of the screen) to earn more gold and more gems.
Upgrading your runner will give you a higher score bonus for using them, and will better their power if they have a special power, such as Hamish’s ability to have double the duration of treasure time. Use extra gold to upgrade the runner, although the best way to get a higher score is simply to run further and get better at not dying.

Hatch a rare pet by spending 20 gems on a precious egg, or you can hatch any pet (mostly common ones) by spending 800 on gold. Your pet will have some kind of bonus power, and this, too, can be enhanced with upgrades.
You can find mounts and boosts around the stage that you run in, and if you upgrade these with coins, they will become more effective and you will have them for longer. Collect them whenever you see them, meaning never pass them up even if you have to avoid a coin or two in order to jump up to get them.
Watch out for updates to the game as TeamLava loves to add new stuff to their games for a long time after they get released. Look for more runners to be added, as well as more mounts and other goodies, even pets. And look for more ways to earn gold and gems as well.
