Adventure Town (iOS/Android): Walkthrough, Wiki, FAQ and Beginner’s Guide

Welcome to the beginner’s guide to Adventure Town! Adventure Town is a city building game combined with an RPG for the iOS and Android platforms, and while it is very simple and easy to get into, there is a lot going on in the game, as well as many hours of gameplay. Read on for the beginner’s guide to Adventure Town!

The game starts you off with a short tutorial. There are two things that you will spend most of your time doing in this game. The first is buying buildings, and the second is fighting monsters. First, the buildings. Your two main buildings are houses and shops. Both of them earn you money (or in this game’s case, gold) but in different ways.

Shops need to be restocked with goods in order to earn you money. Each time that you restock them, you will start earning gold automatically, plus as soon as you restock them, you will earn crafting collectibles. Each one will earn you a different amount of gold in a different amount of time. Goods are earned from the farms – plant crops, and when they are ready to harvest, harvest them and you will get the goods.

Houses, on the other hand, will earn you gold just by existing; however, you have to collect the gold yourself before they can start earning gold again. No crafting items will be earned from the houses, and they will take longer to earn you money, even though you don’t have to stock them up with any goods.

You can also by decor, such as trees and fountains; however, they have no real purpose other than to look pretty. In fact, your town starts off with a number of trees and other decorations. Once you run out of room, you can sell them to not only earn some gold, but to make room for new buildings also.

Expanding your land will become a priority rather quickly, but it takes some progression in the game to unlock expansions. First, you will have to unlock the Elixir Maker. After that, you can buy expansions whenever you want, but you have to be a certain experience level for each one. Different land patches will require different experience levels, different crafted items, and different quantities of gold.
