The key to pitching successfully is to keep the other player off-balance, and to do this, you need to constantly change what pitch you throw, as well as the location. It’s easy to throw every pitch for strikes, so make sure to keep your pitches on the corners, and not down the middle.

For fielding, you need to tap the appropriate base in order to make the throw. The quicker you do this, the easier it is to get out, especially retiring decide on a double play. If you delay your throws too long, you could end up allowing a player to reach base instead of giving them out.

There are two different hitting modes in the game. Automatic mode takes care of the name of the bat for you, allowing you to focus only on the timing. Manual mode makes it so that you also have to aim your swing; the advantage of manual mode is that if you get good enough at aiming, then it will be easier to hit hard shots, especially home runs.

Smart baserunning can score you a lot of extra runs if you do it right. When you get a head, keep an eye on where the ball goes and how far it goes, and use that knowledge to take extra bases whenever you can. It’s especially easy to have the runner on second or third to take an extra base, and it allows you to score that much faster.

Be sure to constantly open chests that you earn from play, especially the rare chests, because the rare ones contain more coins, rarer players, and sometimes even diamonds. The common ones don’t contain as good of prizes, but they do open much more quickly.

Another way to earn free diamonds without having to spend real life money on them is my completing missions. Most of the missions that the game gives you contain coins and diamonds as a reward, so the faster that you can complete these missions, the more diamonds that you can rack up.

Be sure to constantly keep your team upgraded. Fill your team with the rarest players that you have, and level them up as soon as you have enough duplicate cards to increase their levels, so that you can increase their stats in their player ratings.

There are two extra game modes included in this game, as well. Use the practice mode if you want to play games without the results affecting your win loss record.

You can also play the game with friends of yours. You can create a new game and invite your friend, or join a game that your friebd has already created. To make things more even, every card will automatically be set to level nine for both you and your friend.

How the hell do you turn your runners around? I see other players do it but during a game you don't really have time to experiment

Rich, that’s part of the game. Happens to me as well, but you beat them by taking the balls they through and only swing at the strikes. They don’t want to walk you so when the 3-0 pitch comes time it right and watch your hits come. Develop a batters eye.
